I’m an extrovert–introvert in the truest sense. I can show up, connect, and pour into people when I need to, but I also retreat into quiet spaces to breathe, reset, and create. Those still moments are where my stories speak the loudest.
I started my family early, and that alone shaped me more than any classroom ever could. Motherhood forced me to grow up fast, to tap into a strength I didn’t know I had, and to understand the weight of responsibility, love, and sacrifice. All of that lives in my writing.
I grew up in a small town dreaming of more, dreaming of the day people would finally take me seriously, dreaming of doing something bigger than anything I’d ever seen around me. I was never meant to fit into one box. I had too many gifts, too many interests, and too much vision to stay small. Back then, I didn’t realize that all of those pieces, my curiosity, my ambition, my restlessness, were preparing me for this path.
Today, everything I create comes from a place of truth, lived experience, and faith. I write for the people who feel overlooked, underestimated, or misunderstood. I write for the ones carrying quiet battles. I write to remind others that the impossible is possible when you lean into purpose.
